My students used their reading logs to answer teacher created questions, complete graphic organizers, and do other skill based work. How do you make labels for books like on Beth Newingham's site? So I've pretty much figured out how I'm gonna sort my books in the classroom library. Now I want to create labels. I'm debating on whether to keep it simple and just type the genre/theme, laminate on cardstock and place on the bin or figuring out how to create the labels like on Beth Newingham's website.

(I downloaded these from her website a couple years ago, but the site is no longer active) Then I gave each student a piece of white construction paper, which we folded to make 10 sections and labeled with the different genres.
